>Things are moving along rapidly with the move, but I think we are in good shape! Movers arrive tomorrow, and we'll be on the road a few days later. We found a great property management company that we're pretty comfortable with, and we found out today that we already have a renter for our place! We are so happy and surprised, since we thought it might take a few months to find someone this time of year. My boss is letting me telecommute for at least a few months, so our financial worries have pretty much subsided. I feel incredibly lucky!
It's been strange to drive around town the last few days. We've had so many happy memories here, and while we're excited about moving, it's bittersweet. It's refreshing to start over, but I'm glad I get to bring the happy memories with me.
After we're settled, we'll need (at some point) to spend some time thinking about what we want to do about our inability to have children. We may do nothing, but moving to a larger city means more options for treatment, and it's worth reconsidering. We watched Bill and Giuliana this week (it was on a few weeks ago, and we recorded it), and watching it made M wonder if we shouldn't be more aggressive. We have time to think it over, but I initially just want to enjoy our new place. After that, we can think about what we want to do. In the meantime, we'll keep packing, cleaning, enjoying our last days here, and looking forward to new people and places.
